If You'd Like To Help...

As some of you may know, my wife Lori has been battling stage IV cancer since she was diagnosed on her 27th birthday, three years ago this month. I have found that the longer that our battle continues, the more I wish I could work from home, in order to spend as much time with Lori as possible, and to better provide the care that she needs and deserves. So to this end, I've been working hard on developing some consumer-oriented blogs recently, in the hopes of bringing in enough income that I may be able to eventually give up my full-time job, and spend my time where I belong – at home with my wife.

Office FreaksOne of the projects I've been working on was actually conceived of by my friend Mike Sigers, and it is essentially a co-op blog, being run by three different husband & wife blogging teams (Joi & Mike Sigers, Aeryn & Chrispian Burks, and Lori & I.) So far it's been a lot of fun. The name of the blog is Office Freaks, and it's dedicated to, you guessed it, office supplies. As far as we can tell we're the world's first office supplies blog...crazy!

Electric Guitar ReviewThe other project I've been deep into recently is one called Electric Guitar Review. I think the name pretty much speaks for itself. I'm really looking forward to developing this one, as playing guitar has been one of my favorite hobbies for the last 20-years...Holy Crud! Am I really that old!

Yikes...

And for those of you who missed the announcement, a few weeks back I launched Church of the iPod...again, fairly self-explanatory, and a whole lot of Apple-related silliness.

So, anyways, I know a number of my readers here at flickrDogs are active bloggers, so I'm humbly asking that if you'd like to help make my dream of spending more time with my wife a reality, I hope you'll consider providing one of my new blogs a link, wherever and whenever you wish. Incoming links mean more traffic, so by providing a simple link you could potentially be making a huge difference in our lives, and we would be forever grateful :)

Well, enough of the begging...as always, best of health
-Cary
